Grocery Score!!

Look at this cart! Last night my cousin Christie called about 8pm and said Piggly Wiggly was having a HUGE sale on all meats and to come with her.. She likes to share deals that way.. I racked up, I got a HUGE pack of Ground Beef (family pack) for $5.52. They even had some for $4 something. I got a HUGE Family pack of Drumsticks for $2.84. If i had a deep freeze, man, well Christie offered for me to stock up in her deep freeze.. we do things for each other. I got a huge family pack of chicken breasts for $4.61, They also had Purity Ice Cream for $.88 cents! Half gallon of Milk for $.98!! I got a family pack of Pork Loins for $4.48. A huge Boston Butt Roast for $4.32. Smoked Sausages for $1.59. They had Golden Flake cheese curls and cheese puffs for $.88! Bologna on clearance for $.79. 3lbs of bananas for $.98!! i racked up.

Going Out of Business Sale.

Im sorry i dont have pictures but there was so much, but i noticed yesterday that when Hubby and i were out, a grocery store, which is Southern Family Market was going out of business. It had a huge sign outside that said 60 to 90% off everything. so i told him we should go in. They were sold out of alot of stuff, but what i did find was a great buy. the only thing that wasnt a great buy were the frozen meats and they were just 10% off.

Bag of Croutons 80 cents.
Vitamin Water 60 cents.
Airwick Air freshener that you plug into the wall. 80 cents/60 cents ea.
Mouthwash 50 cents.
150ct college rule notebook paper 68 cents.
Scratchpads 60 cents.
File Folders 1.00!!! these usually are nearly $4 at Walmart.
I got 2 baby shower cards, for my neice whose shower is almost here, for 28 cents.
Colgate Total toothpaste 1.48 and it was 3.69!
A box of Tampons for 1.00
Baby Lotion for 1.20. a huge bottle.
I wear contacts and u know how expensive eye solution is. i got a huge bottle of RENU that was 9.99 for 4!!!!!!
Alcohol 60 cents.
A pack of Bacon for 1.60.
Veggie burger Patties for 1.44.
And heres the best part, my hubby, as gross as it is, Dips. he went to the tabacco section and they had his brand of Dip which is Grizzly for 70 CENTS a can!!!! SCORE!!!!! and the cans all came with mini flashlights, with batteries included! he was so excited, and so was i, bc normally we pay $2.05 a can. He got a total of 8 cans, which was all they had bc ppl were grabbing, for a total of 4.56. so around 70 or so cents a can. They also had Marlboro cigerettes for $1.44 a pack!! which is cheap btw, but we dont smoke. of course ppl were grabbing those by the cartons.

All in all, i say that was a great score.

Then we went over to Big Lots where we found some Clearance Items.

2 Bags of Chili Cheese tortilla chips for .50 cents a bag!!
Kraft Mac and Cheese Cheddar Krackers for .90 cents!
Harvest Snack mix, sort of like Chex mix but better for .75 cents!
Popcorn Smoked Cheddar Cheese. in a gormet bag for .75 cents.
Twisters cheddar crackers for .85 cents.

I think i got good deals for the day.

Clutch

I seen this Clutch. i know, im not a clutch person at all! but, everytime i have to step out of the house, its really irritating to take my big handbag just to run to the store or somewhere. so i watched Annas video, over at THE STYLE DIET on Youtube. she did a Whats in your Clutch video and im like, that would be a great idea and i loved hers. so i see this, and it was regularly $9.99 and it was marked down to $6.99 and then $3.99!!!! what a deal. i dont care for the color, but i love the inside. and the clutch is more like the first pic, not as bright as the other for sure.

Shirt

I went to Catos with my mom today, totally not looking for anything to buy. I saw this shirt and i liked it and tried it on and it looked good. i bought it. it was $7.99!! on clearance.

FINALLY!

I finally got my handbag!!!! i got it today. and it is just gorgeous.. omg i love it. Sorry about the pics, the lighting is really bad, its late at night. i will try to put some up for you later to show the beauty of it. it looks small, but no way. its like 18 long. it is big and gorgeous. Ok, the story like i said in the previous post is that i thought this bag was lost in the mail. the lady told me she sent it priority mail on June 29, (its July 11th today), and i waited and waited and didnt get it that thurs i was talking about and emailed her and she went back to her post office and they swore it would be here anyday, so im getting irritated at this point. so friday i call MY post office and they look it up and she tells me the lady did not mail it priority, she sent it PARCEL POST. ugh. well ya know, that is fine, she couldve just TOLD ME! she said she sent it priority. ugh. so the lady at the post office said not to count it lost yet to give it another week. so i did. well today right out of the blue, the mail lady pulls up and honks, im like omg FINALLY! i was so excited! she also thru in a dust bag which i love. but even tho it was a waiting nightmare, i truly am loving this bag, its so soft and buttery leather.. the red looks wonderful against the gold hardware. My whirlwind of craziness..

This is my purse i got.. the one i got when i had extra birthday money left over.. it was $23. it is a great purse and so roomy and i am very excited to use it. Why am i posting only the 2nd purse i bought you ask? bc i still have not gotten the other one yet!!!! argh. the 1st purse was sent out 1st. last monday. by priority shipping. shouldve gotten it weds or thurs. STILL HAVENT GOTTEN IT! there is a tracking number on it. NO UPDATES as to where it is. i emailed the seller and she called/went to the post office and they said it should be delivered anytime now. well todays tues and still nothing. i told her i would let her know by thursday if i still havent gotten it, and she said she would go back and hopefully have it tracked down, i want my purse!!!! argh.
