Hey everyone! i know its been awhile and im sorry.. just really didnt have anything to post, but now i got a few things to talk about. i havent bought anything new in a long time, just havent had the funds with Christmas coming and all. and when u have 3 kids you have to save every penny! Ok first of all, my upgrade came with my cell phone. remember i had the Blackberry 8330. well i was tired of getting old out of date phones because they were cheap. everytime i upgraded my phone the last few years they would come out with another newer version of it. made me so mad. anyway, i did my research and the only thing that would be compatible with me and what options i wanted was the Droid X and the Droid Incredible. i talked to a guy at Verizon and he said the Droid Incredible had way too many problems and he wouldnt recommend it. so i went with the Droid X. I was gonna wait it out and go with the Verizon version of the Iphone in Jan, but i just couldnt wait bc my BB seemed to be on its last legs. i know i may kick myself but i am an impatient person! lol. but i got the Droid X and o.m.g. do i love it!! was tricky getting used to the touchscreen but its really good.

Ok, yall remember the little tiff i had with Target and those Mulberry bags. well yesterday hubs and i had to go Christmas shopping and we went to Target, guess what section they still had??? Yep! those Mulberry bags!!!! and they had the bag i wanted. well im glad i didnt run out and drive the 50 or more miles to get one of those things cause let me say this: i dont know why i was stressing about it then, because the bags are so cheap looking and feeling. like they could fall apart if u put alot of stuff in them! and u all know i pack my bags full! so im glad i didnt waste the $49.99 back then and now. cause i wouldve hated it!

Also i found a Jessica Simpson bag at Ross that was reg price $180!! and they had it for $24.99!! i was gonna make my mom get it for me, but she talked me out of it, (GRRR) makes me mad.

THE MECCA

I am absolutely shocked and stunned that i was able to get this bag. you all know how much i have wanted a Louis Vuitton! This is a Louis Vuitton Speedy 35. it is LOVE. i dont know what else to say about it. and no, i did NOT fork over the $700 it costs new. lets just say i got VERY LUCKY in finding it.

Steve Madden

Now i am a HUGE fan of Steve Madden bags. great quality. but they can get expensive. so i go to TJMaxx to find these. This bag is hot pink inside. so gorgeous. i only paid $9.99 out of my pocket for it. Hannah paid the other $40 cause shes awesome like that.

Gucci

I got this Gucci bag from Ebay. its gorgeous. got the Gucci scarf with it. Thanks to the very special person who helped me with this.

Necklaces and Watch

The Long necklace that you see in the pic with the different chains on it, i got at Walmart on Clearance for $1.

The Turquoise necklace with the watch, i got for $1.99 at Cato. these are so pretty together also.

The watch i got at Walmart for $10. i wanted one like the Micheal Kors and Guess. but man there so expensive. in the $100s. so this looks exactly like it.

Mulberry for Target

I didnt know they were coming out with this designer until i heard on twitter that it would be out 10-10-10. So i went to Target online and eagarly wanted to check out the Bags. what??? wait??!! they are Sold Out? what??? they just came out!! so disappointed. :( BUT there was only ONE bag that i really liked. it was the black pebble leather bag. the largest one. it was so pretty. sold out. on twitter everyone was talking about how they went to Target and there sold out too. what was going on? so in my investigative mode i went to Youtube and TA DA!!! People were rushing to Target and waiting in line before they opened to get these bags. and no they didnt just buy ONE or TWO. they were buying them by the handfuls. not because their handbag obsessed like me, but because they knew these bags were a hot item so they stocked up and they are now proudly up for sale on Ebay. and not at the $49.99 Target was asking for some of the bags, but more like over a $100!!! what? thats crazy!! people shouldnt be allowed to do that, i dont have anything against buying something and putting anything up on Ebay. BUT, when u buy out a whole shelf and not let someone else have a chance, thats what i have a problem with. but now i have to wait a few months to get this bag so the price will go down on Ebay. i also wrote Target an email and i know im just one person, but its ridiculous. alot of people were so disappointed. There, thats my soapbox for the month and i'll get off of it now.

Finally------- Birthday Haul

Ok, alot to go thru, First, i dont remember if i ever showed this purse in my Haul, but its a Nicole Lee and i got it at TJMaxx and its the one im using at the moment.
My mom gave me some money so i picked out this sterling silver thick ring at Walmart, on clearance for $20.
I went to TJMaxx and i got Havianni flip flops. ever how you spell it. on clearance for $9.99. Went to Bath and Body works and got Country Apple Body Spray and Lotion for $3 ea.
I also saw this ring on clearance and loved it.. ive always wanted a Moms ring. $10.
And Hannah got a Betsy Johnson Handbag at TJMaxx. $39.99, shes tired of it now, so she gave it to me!! yes. score!!!

Something out of the ordinary..

I was reading around some of my favorite places this morning, and i came across this father who blogged about his alone time with his baby this past wkd. his wife had a business wkd to attend. i know alot of people with children and alot of stay at home moms.. what bugs me the most is when someone says i have to ask my husband to babysit for me if i want to go out or go somewhere. and my brain explodes everytime i hear that sentence. babysit? how can u babysit your own kids??? i never understood that. so as i was reading i came across this exact situation. and i will quote it:

I was like YES!!! someone who finally gets it!!!!! When mothers have their children nothings ever said, but you see fathers and its like oh hes babysitting.. oh that just burns my biscuits. lol. FATHERS DO NOT BABYSIT THERE OWN CHILDREN. I have never in my life "asked" my hubby to "babysit" his kids. i never "ask" him to go anywhere, i just go, if the kids are here there just here, i dont ask him anything because there HIS KIDS. just the same as he doesnt ask me to go to work, or he doesnt ask me when he goes to the store.

I know this is an out of ordinary from my usual blogs, but i just had to post it, i was very proud of this father, he loves his child and he gets it!!!!

Small Haul and Update

I havent posted anything because i have just been so busy.. with school being out and Hannah now having a job i gotta run her back and forth too, its just been crazy. and cooking and cleaning. Then hubs last week almost collapsed of heat exhaustion. its been so hot and humid here. almost 100. i was so worried about him. hes better now.

So i have only purchased just a couple of things here and there. i seen these tee shirts at walmart and they were only $8 or $9 bucks..i didnt have a dark purple tee so i got it. fits really well. then i saw these Miley Cyrus wristlets on clearance, and they were $3 but i didnt get it, i figured they'd mark them down more. Then saturday night went to another walmart and what do ya know!? the Miley Cyrus wristlets were $1!!! great deal. i use it to hold my camera cable and car charger, things like that. Well with it being summer i drink alot of bottled water. but i hate the idea of all the bottles being wasted, so when i was at walmart (again of course lol) i saw these Aluminum hydration bottles on clearance for $3! so i picked it up. and i love it!!! it doesnt leak or anything, so when i got out, instead of having to buy bottled water, i can put this in my purse or leave it in the car! saves money and the enviroment!

Fathers day was yesterday and hubs birthday is next sat the 26th, so i bought him a combined present. a shirt, a CD (luke bryan), boots for work, and a ringtone for his phone.

Then next tuesday the 29th is my birthday.. Eclipse comes out at the theaters and i was hoping to get my bestie Anna to go see it with me at the Matinee that friday, if not, maybe another day. then of course, i have no idea what i want for my birthday. (im lying, of course i wanna go to TJ Maxx). lol.

Sex and the City 2

Anna and I went to see Sex and the City 2 today at the movies, along with my daughter Hannah and her Boyfriend Marcus. we were the only 4 people watching this movie. i loved it!!! it was so light and fun and just hilarious. Anna and I had a blast.

Sex and the City 2

Well the long awaited 2nd movie comes out Thursday! i cant wait.. i loved this series.. i didnt start watching it on HBO till the 4th season and i went and watched every episode since it left air. i watched the first movie as soon as i could on DVD, i didnt go to the movies. but this time, im going to watch it, Me and my daughter Hannah (she loves this series too) and her boyfriend and my bestie Anna are going to the matinee friday to see it.. i cant wait!!!!

Small Haul

Last Sunday was mothers day, this is the first year that my oldest Hannah has a job, so she went shopping and brought me my first mothers day present. she stopped off by Bath and Body Works and got me this. yum. Japanese Cherry Blossom Lotion, Midnight Pomegranate Lotion and Sweet Pea Body Spray. they smell so good!

Hubby didnt get to get me anything for Mothers Day because he had some work done at the dentist and he wasnt feeling too good last wkd. So we headed out to TJMaxx this wkd. They really didnt have anything that i liked, but i found this bag and i love it.. very soft. and i just love the detail. Its a Steve Madden. Gun Metal i think is the color. i love this bag!! regular $98 and i got it for $49! Thanks Hubs!!

Outfit of the Day (Friday)

It was so hot out, i just threw on this white tee shirt from Walmart and Kmart capri's i got about 6 years ago. flip flops and new Steve Madden bag.

Skin

here are the skins i was talking about for my Blackberry. i got a red and blue in one pack and it was $1. then a pack with clear and a pack with pink. all for $1. i was happy lol.

New phone.

I have wanted a new phone for awhile now.. i hated my phone. it didnt do anything. the internet half the time didnt work.. basically all you could do was text. i loved the keyboard, but that was it.. and the texting irritated me some too, i get alot of texts because im on twitter, but everytime i wrote a text, a new one would interupt me. then i would click clr, and here came another, it got to be rather annoying. i heard smartphones didnt do that, ie: blackberry, driod, those phones. i looked on Ebay and i just didnt wanna pay a $100 or more for a phone and my contract is up in Nov. i just didnt wanna do it. so one day, im on Facebook and one of my friends was like "i hate my phone!" and i asked her what phone she had, she said Blackberry and she hated it and wished she had someone to trade with, and im like well i have the ENV2 but im sure you wouldnt wanna trade with me for that. and shes like Oh i love that phone! my sis has it, yes i will trade with you! and im like are you serious? lol. long story short, we ended up meeting almost halfway between our houses and called Verizon and swapped phones!! i love this phone! i dont know how i did without it all this time. i love getting my emails, and i dont have to use texts for twitter, i have a twitter app. i love it!!! the reason she hated the phone, was because yes, its not a simple phone like what i had, and she works all the time and just didnt have the time for it. i just cant believe it worked out so well. i also needed a skin for it so i looked around at Walmart and i walked upon Clearance and wouldnt you know, Blackberry skins were on clearance for $1!!!! so i got 4, blue, red, clear, pink. i'll post a picture.

Almost Normal

As you can see from the pics above our city was devastated. These pics dont even do it justice. i could post so many more that gets into the devastation. We lost a gas station, parts of banks, 196 homes were distroyed and 156 were damaged, we lost power for 4 days here, nothing compared to everyone else. we lost a Family Dollar Store, FoodLand grocery store that has to be reconstructed. A middle school was almost completely damaged.. the high school took in tons of damage.. our city lost 80% of its trees. the list could go on. but i will start blogging again soon,

Tornado

Sorry i havent made any posts. our city was hit by a major tornado saturday. my city is in utter distruction. we just now got internet and cable back on. i will post pics and update as soon as i can! thankfully we're ok.

Outfit of the Day (Friday) Small Haul

Sorry this is late, but been busy. Friday i wore my new green Old Navy shirt, its very thin, so i wore a white shirt under it. these are great for layering. My flip flops i gotten a few weeks ago, these are comfortable. my Cato jeans. i love these jeans! This off white bag, i got on ebay a few years ago, its by Avon.

We stopped at this new store in our city. its soft of like a thift store. i really didnt find anything. this is a store where you really have to dig to find things. i found this new with tags Betsyville makeup bag. for $3!!! if you know Betsyville, you know their pricey sometimes.

The Shoes

These are the shoes that hubby got me from Cato. they were $17.99. they are surprisingly comfortable. of course i havent walked long distances in them yet lol.

Outfit of the Day and Small Haul

I know i usually post outfit of the day posts on fridays, but we've just been so busy on fridays. Hubs has been getting dental work and my oldest daughter got a job and we've just been back and forth. But tonight hubs and i went out to eat and shopping. I got the blue jean pants at Catos of course lol. hubby treated me. these are average jeans and i usually get petite. well ive found while the petite fits me good and is the right length (im short), the average looks better on my body. well Cato jeans are usually long on me, so i did what my daughter does since shes short too, i cut the bottom off a couple of inches and there perfect! they fit so good. they were on clearace from $27.99 to $19.99. I also got a pair of shoes (wedges) but i forgot to put the pic, i will tommorow. they were $17.99 i think. We went to TJMAXX and Old Navy over the weekend and Old Navy was having a sale, i got the shirt next to my jeans on clearance for $4.97. i really like it. Then i used my mustard color Steve Madden purse, white watch and bracelets, that bracelet that you see with the purple in it, i got on clearance at walmart for $3 and its from the movie New Moon and it says Vampires love Forever. i also wore my new flip flops. pictured in another post.

In the other pic, i got 3 other shirts on Clearance from Old navy, ranging from $2.99 to $4.99. so soft and great for summer!

Jewelry Collection

Here is all my Jewelry. From necklaces to bracelets to rings. to watches. i dont pay alot for my jewelry. i get most of it on clearance. all this is from Cato, Walmart, Target, and Jewelry and Handbag Warehouse. Im not gonna go thru and name them all, its too much.

Small Haul

Ive been hearing so much about the book, The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks, so i have passed by it alot of times at Walmart, but i didnt wanna pay the $10.97 it was. well i went on and looked at all the other books and i found a smaller version of the book for $5.97!!! so i got it. cant wait to read it. then i ordered this watch off of ebay, i have been wanting a blue chanel looking watch, this is smaller, but it works. i got it for $6.99 WITH shipping! lol.

Forgot to add that i had to have some summer flip flops as mine that ive had more than 2 years are worn out. i found these at the Shoe Dept on clearance for $16.98. they are knock off Yellow Box. i think there Malibu but not for sure. Went to Catos and i found some more jogging/pj pants that i like to wear around the house. they were on clearance for $4.99.

Perfume Collection

I thought since i got all my Jewelry out, i would get all my perfume out.. i know i have too much, but most of these i got 1/2 price the day after Christmas.

I got Shania, J-Lo, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Generic version of Juicy, Generic version of Hillary Duffs With Love, Britney Spears and Faith Hill.

I forgot these 2 pairs of sunglasses in my Jewelry collectin, i know you dont consider them as jewelry, but it is an accessory. there both by Cato. and my Walmart watch.

Outfit of the Day (Friday) Small Haul

Its getting hot here.. its been in the 80s for the last week. i like it so far, of course we havent had any humidity with it, but when we do i totally hate summer. I wore my new Catos shirt. i love this shirt! its so soft and thin, perfect for summer. and my Route 66 jeans from Kmart. My Cato handbag that i bought last year. i love it.
I love this shirt so i went back to Catos to see if they had more in other colors. and they only had 1. and it was my size! so i picked it up. Then searched around the store to see what else they had. i have heard about the Viva La Juicy perfume but no where around here has it, so wouldnt ya know Catos has the generic form of it! smells so good! i had to pick it up. $4.99 and the shirt was $13.99. Went to Walmart and they had some jewelry on sale.. almost picked up a bracelet watch that was on clearance for $3 but im waiting. But seen this cute necklace and you know how huge keys are in right now, i gave my daughter Morgan the earrings. it was only $2 for the set!

I havent forgotten about my request for my jewelry collection! its coming soon!

Outfit of the Day (Friday) Small Haul

My outfit of the day consisted of Cato Jeans and the brown short sleeve shirt and long sleeve white shirt together that i posted below.

Hubby had to go to the dentist today and we went and got his prescription filled at CVS, looking around the store, i saw this "coin" purse. and i thought oh i need that bc my makeup bag is so huge and i do sometimes use smaller bags. i can use it to throw lipsticks in. so i got it. $2.99. then we went to the discount store, new in our area, and i dont remember the name, just something discount. and i picked up this little notebook for $.50 to just throw in my bag. then went to walmart and as i was checking out, i seen this "lotion" and it was on clearance for $.68!!! so i grabbed 2. ive heard it was good. by Nivea.

New camera

I didnt plan on getting a new camera, but hubby and i went to Walmart and we passed by the electronic section where we noticed a huge section on clearance. and they were marked so cheap! My old camera which i got more than 4 years ago was a Fujifilm and only 5.1 megapixels. it did the job. but i looked around the section and noticed quite a few good cameras on clearance. i found this one, a Sony Cybershot. 10.1 megapixels. so huge upgrade. im still learning it, but i love it. im hoping to figure out to do videos.. i know it shoots them, but i gotta learn how to upload them. it was regular price $89 and i got it for $49.

Misc Haul

I found a Balenciaga knockoff on Ebay. for $39.99. i like it but i dont. wasnt as big as i thought it would be. and its patent leather instead of soft leather. but i will use it since i paid for it. grr. i really hate this addiction that i have. i MADE my husband promise he wouldnt let me buy anymore bags no matter how much i wanted it.

I know what your thinking, and no i didnt buy this handbag. lol. when we went to the flea market on the way to Pigeon Forge, they had D&G knockoffs and my daughter fell in love with this bag, she has her own part time job now so she bought it herself, paid $23 for it. well after about a week, she decided it was too big, but i really like it. so i traded one of my handbags for it. great way to do it! lol.
